An evening with Russell Napier in the amphitheater of debate
"Nowhere does history indulge in repetitions so often or so uniformly as in Wall Street." Reminisces of a stock operator
Russell Napier read 16 months of Wall Street Journals, all when stock markets had bottomed in order to assess the truth of this apt quotation. He has reviewed Wall streets four great market bottoms to understand what, if any, similarities exists between these temporally distinct events in his book entitled "Anatomy of the Bear". Russell runs a course in financial history (A Practical History of Financial Markets) aimed at professional investors and in 2014 launched a new business and financial history library (The Library of Mistakes). Russell is an independent strategist at and co-founder of Electronic Research Interchange ERIC, an online platform for the sale of high-quality individually priced investment research.
We will hear Russell speak about his research and have an opportunity to question, probe and debate.
