Words and Actions for Peace is on the ground floor. Their portable wheelchair ramp is 47 inches / 119 cm wide, however the entrance door is only 3 feet / 91 cm wide. There is no accessible toilet in the building but they have an agreement with the gas station up the street to use theirs at anytime.

Shaho Qadir is a 50 year old Kurdish double amputee who courageously plans to wheel in his wheelchair from Glasgow to Gaza, arriving in Edinburgh on the 29th of September. He rides to help end the horrors for the Palestinian people and particularly for the children in the strip. Wheel to Gaza campaign will see him wheeling for around seven months, encouraging anyone and everyone to join him along the way.

Join us in Edinburgh on the evening of the 30th to meet Shaho Qadir and support his campaign! You can expect a Q&A, as well as a projection of Gaza Sunbirds film shorts. We will also have some exclusive Gaza Sunbirds merch available for purchase. Suggested donations on the door.
