Come and join Barts and The London Students' Association, Queen Mary University of London, for an evening with Sir Peter Ratcliffe, our latest Nobel Prize Laureate during Barts and The London Week.

Sir Peter will be speaking about his time at St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College to present day and his research into the cellular response to hypoxia which led him to win a Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2019.

The event has a limited number of tickets and is open for all students and alumni from Queen Mary University of London. Entry will be given on a first come first served basis.

Important check in information

All guests attending this event must bring their Queen Mary student ID or a photo ID with them. Tickets are non-exchangeable between guests.

Check in will open at 5.30pm at the main entrance to the Robin Brook Centre. Entry will be given on a first come first served basis. Once the main lecture theatre is full then space will be available in overflow rooms. Please note that access to these will also be given on a first come first served basis. Please arrive with plenty of time.
