Event description

Description

The Chartered College of Teaching, in association with Beechwood School and the Schelwood Trust, is organising a free evening event to introduce the Chartered College of Teaching to teachers, school leaders and others working in the education sector in the local area.

Professor Dame Alison Peacock, Chief Executive, Chartered College of Teaching, will explain the role of the Chartered College and what it has achieved since its launch in January 2017. This will be followed by an informal discussion about the issues and challenges you are facing in your region and how the Chartered College can work with teaching professionals to support the education community.

Joe Treacy, Head of Membership, Chartered College of Teaching, will provide more details of the benefits of membership and explain how joining the Chartered College can support your continuing professional development.

This informal event will provide the perfect opportunity to find out more about the Chartered College and to network with your peers and colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere.
