Join us for an hour of mindfulness. No experience necessary. Mindfulness is a practice that is becoming more and more widely used. If a regular practice is developed, mindfulness can help with us feeling less overwhelmed by life - more responsive to life, rather than being pulled all over the place by our reactions. There is a good evidence base for mindfulness helping with a variety of things such as stress, anxiety, depression, physical pain. It is a way for us to connect with ourselves.

During this hour we will be focusing on Nourishing Happiness - realising the conditions of happiness in our lives that already exist. So often, we focus solely on the difficult - so let’s redress the balance!

Meditation cushions and yoga mats are provided, although if you have your own you may wish to bring them for extra comfort. Some people also like to have a blanket with them.
