About this event
Dr Kate Thompson has a BA in history, an MA in local and regional history, a diploma in archive administration and a diploma in management studies. The title of her PhD thesis is 'The Leicester Poor Law Union, 1836-1871'.
She lives in Letchworth Garden City, where she is heavily involved in the Letchworth Arts & Leisure Group, the Garden City Society and others.
