Messages about the importance of e-safety are clear in statutory guidance. As part of the governing role, we must understand the risks and take positive steps as leaders towards supporting effective practice in this specific area of safeguarding.
As part of ODST you are invited to meet together to consider new perspectives on e-safety, including how online behaviour influences behaviour in school, the capacity to learn and to form wholesome and fulfilling human relationships. We need the ability to think critically and broadly in order to support children to behave safely and participate responsibly in their digital world. We look forward to exploring these challenges with you.
