An introduction to learning Shamanic Journeying: A half day retreat for LGBTQI+ & allies. Location is subject to change but will be either Wheatsheaf Hall near Nine Elms or Brixton.

Join us for a transformative half-day retreat where we will embark on a series of shamanic journeys to explore our inner selves and connect with other realms of consciousness. This event is specifically designed for the LGBTQI+ community and their allies, creating a safe and inclusive space for everyone to learn and grow together.

A 15% of any profits from ticket sales will go toward Queer Spirit (https://queerspirit.net/) a grass roots organisation who's aim is to provide ways for LGBT+ people to explore spirituality, healing and personal development.

During this retreat, you will have the opportunity to learn various shamanic techniques, including drumming, meditation, and visualization exercises. These practices will help you access altered states of consciousness and connect with your spirit guides and power animals.

Our experienced facilitator will take you through each step of the journey, providing support and guidance along the way. Whether you are new to shamanic practices or have some prior experience, this retreat welcomes all levels of participants.

Take this chance to delve deep into your spiritual exploration, gain insights, and connect with like-minded individuals in a nurturing environment. Come as you are, open your heart, and embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and empowerment.

Half Day Retreat and Ceremony.

During this half day retreat, you will have the opportunity to sit in ceremony led by experienced shamanic practitioner Niamh (@Berkana_Raido_Rattles) https://www.berkanaraidorattles.com/general-7-1

As a shamanic practitioner, I will help you to discover the realms of the 'other world' known as 'Non-Ordinary' reality. We will spend the day in ceremony, working with sacred feminine master plant 'Mugwort' and or Cacao (depending on which calls). We will then dive deep into the ancient practice of Shamanic Journeying. You will learn techniques and rituals that will allow you to explore the realms of the 'other' world, connect with cosmic consciousness and your inner guides through the drum.

You will sit in circle with like minded wisdom seekers and learn how to access other worlds beyond this reality. You will gain answers to questions, retrieve healing, wisdom and connection to the lower and upper realms.

By the end of the half day retreat you will know how to... ​

-receive healing & guidance for what you need answers to in your life right now

-bring the practice of shamanic journeying — the oldest spiritual practice in the world — into your every-day life to improve aspects of yourself: emotionally, mentally, physically & spiritually

-connect you with many sources of guidance and inspiration so you can manifest positive outcomes for yourself and others as well as tap into your own intuitive gifts

-identify your own emotional and physical healing — understand how a shamanic practitioner views energy, what causes energy to get blocked and how to to seek guidance and support through shamanic journeying

-harness the power of ceremony realising its potential to create individual & community healing as well as positive change in your life and the lives of those around you

-sit in community with a circle of like minded souls in a safe and nurturing environment

-improve your health and well-being, experiencing how connection to the other world and nature helps us to be in service to the planet

Session times & dates:(Please arrive 15 minutes early)

Saturday 25th May 2024.

1 0.15 am for 10.30 am start

16.00 pm we will close ceremony.

L unch break 30 minutes around 12.30

(There are places near by to buy lunch and you are also welcome to use the kitchenette)

W hat to bring:

-Please bring a cushion or blanket - a selection of floor seats and yoga matts will be provided.

-Please bring an eye mask or light scarf that can be tied around your head to cover your eyes.

-Please do where possible, travel via foot/ public transport to avoid driving after. If this is a problem please email me.

- Please bring a writing journal and pen

Event preparation:

Before coming to the event, please take walks in nature and specifically looking for what we call an 'axis mundi'. This is a portal if you like, a hole in a tree, a crack in the earth, a rabbit hole , special tree or cave that you have seen and can use to imagine yourself venturing into the shamanic realms. About tickets:

T ickets are on a tier system in order to ensure financial accessibility to the community. No one turned around for lack of funds, so please email us if the tiers are too much for you at this point in time.

Unfortunately the venue is up a flight of stairs and there is no lift, if you are interested in future events like this with an accessible space please do sign up to my mailing list.
