This talk by Damien Newman from Thrive will give an overview of the potential and practice of therapeutic horticulture.
The talk will be relevant to a wide range of stakeholders who have a current interest in therapeutic horticulture, or who want to find out what it is and how it might benefit them. Potentially interested organisations and sectors may include:
- VCSE organisations
- CCGs and Local Care Organisations (LCOs)
- Mental Health charities and services
- Primary Care (Navigators / GPs)

The event is being co-organised by the RHS and the University of Salford, who are collaborating on the development of a therapeutic horticulture social prescribing pathway for local residents in Salford, based at the RHS Garden Bridgewater.
