An introduction in to Corset making
This is an intense one day course for experienced sewers who would like to dip a toe into the intreguing and addictive craft of real corsetry where students will learn how to make a modern waist reducing corset based on the traditional Victorian steel boned corset.
Tailor green will guide you through each step of construction and students with leave with a fully functional corset.
The following materials are included in the price and will be supplied to each person:
- Pre cut corset parts in Coutil corsetry fabric (Size 12)
- Split busk fastner
- Steel boning
- Two part metal eyelet kit
- Corset laces
The cost of the workshop includes tuition, materials detailed above, morning and afternoon refreshments
Fees are non refundable but in the event of cancellation may be used towards goods or the cost of a different course or workshop during the current teaching cycle
