This introductory module has been developed in partnership between the West Midlands Violence Reduction Unit and Barnardo's.

The training has the following aims:

1. To understand the potential impact of ACEs and trauma across the life course.

2. To understand how to recognise the signs of trauma in behaviour.

3. To understand what trauma-informed practice means.

4. To gain a basic understanding into how an organisation can begin a journey towards a trauma-informed organisational culture.

Overview:

A free, 3hr webinar split into two parts. This course offers something both for those who are new to ACEs as a concept and those with some existing prior knowledge. It is aimed at both those who work with children and young people AND those who work regularly with adults.
