An Introduction to AVID Hifi Featuring Conrad Mas

On Thursday 30th October, we will be joined by Conrad Mas, Founder of AVID Hifi, as he hosts a session introducing the brand as well as demonstrating their range of turntables, cartridges and phono stages.

AVID HiFi is a British brand known for its obsessive commitment to analogue sound. Founded by Conrad in 1995, the brand grew out of his decades-long quest to eliminate vibration and distortion in turntable design, a journey that began with a homemade deck in the late ’70s. Today, AVID builds everything in-house at its Cambridgeshire facilities, from turntables and tonearms to phono stages, amplifiers, speakers, and cables.

Amongst the products on display will be the long standing favourite Acutus (Dark Iron) turntable as well as the newest addition to the AVID record player range, the Relveo.

We will have two systems playing at the event, a full AVID setup in our upstairs demo room as well as the Acutus playing in the main demonstration room downstairs.
