An introduction to beekeeping
Overview
If you are thinking about taking up beekeeping, perhaps as a new hobby or maybe a new career, or know someone who wants to learn more about these fascinating creatures, this weekend course can help you. Led by a local Master Beekeeper, assisted by experienced beekeepers we will provide an insight into and practical experience of the world of the honey bee and the role of the beekeeper. There is plenty of opportunity to ask questions throughout the course.
It is a first step into beekeeping and hope that attendees will be inspired to take up the craft by joining a local beekeeping club to continue their learning.
