About this event

Bristol Bites Back Better is a new campaign to empower Bristolians to create a food system that will nourish our city far into the future. It is part of Bristol’s bid to be a Gold Sustainable Food City.

Food for recovery

Food has been in the spotlight during the pandemic, with unprecedented challenges for our city’s food system combined with unimagined resourcefulness and kindness from individuals and organisations in rising to the challenge.

The pandemic has highlighted the importance that ‘Bristol Bites Back Better’, creating a food system that is greener, fairer, more resilient and healthier as part of recovery.

Your organisation, no matter the size or sector, can play a role in ensuring Bristol’s food system emerges better for people, planet and communities.

At this short introductory session you can

  • Understand why food is so vital for our recovery.
  • Find out more about the campaign and how it relates to Going for Gold.
  • Discover how your organisation can help and how to get started.
  • Connect with others who want to be part of Bristol’s good food movement

All attendees will have the chance of winning some ethically-sourced coffee from our friends Wogan Coffee!
