What's it all about?
This one day workshop by Chris Morrison and Jane Secker, the team behind, focuses on copyright licences and exceptions using their popular Copyright Card Game in the morning. The session also includes tips for using this openly licensed resource in your own teaching.

The afternoon will consider embedding copyright literacy into your institution, giving you the opportunity to review your current approaches and devise an action plan. The final part of the afternoon will be spent designing creative approaches to copyright education using some topical scenarios.

Who's it aimed at?
The session is aimed at library staff at all levels, in particular those providing support and information literacy teaching for staff and students. It is aimed at those with a basic or minimal level of understanding about copyright. The morning provides an opportunity to bring all delegates up to a similar level of knowledge. The afternoon looks at creative approaches to teaching copyright particularly as part of wider information and digital literacy teaching.
