Who is it for?

As described, this 2-hour training session provides you with an introductory overview of domestic abuse. This training is suitable for anyone who has an interest in learning more about what domestic abuse looks like, and how to support victims. It is particularly useful for people who work in frontline services supporting the public for example, statutory services like social care, school staff or housing support. The training is also beneficial for anyone working in the third and voluntary sectors.

If you work with the general public, particularly people who are vulnerable then this training will be useful to you. However, considering that anyone can be a victim of domestic abuse this training provides a great overview of what indicators to look out for and how to help, so is appropriate for anyone who works with, volunteers or supports the general public.
