About this event
- Do you find yourself less confident talking about fundraising in Board meetings than you would like to be?
- Are you unsure about words like "pipeline" and "stewardship"?
- Do you wonder why your charity doesn't do the things you suggest to raise money?
If any or all of these sound familiar, then this is the lunch and learn* for you.
This is a short (50 min) introduction to fundraising, which will cover how fundraising is different from sales, how different types of fundraising differ from each other, and a few frameworks to take away that might be useful for your next Board meeting.
Please note, that this is focused on how to better support fundraising in your capacity as a Trustee, not how to actually fundraise (which is not your job!)
It starts at 1pm and will finish by 1:50pm, to allow you time to prepare if you have a meeting at 2pm. The session will not be recorded, but you will be sent resources afterwards.
*Bring your lunch and turn your camera off if you need to!
