Event description

Description

There are over 8,000 active grant-making trusts and foundations in the UK. Between them they give over £6 billion of grants to charitable organisations each year. Would you like to know how your organisation can go about finding suitable trusts and making applications to them? This introductory course, taught by experienced trust fundraisers, will give you the information you need to start raising funds from grant-making trusts.

The course is suitable for people who are new to raising funds from grant-making trusts and foundations.

During the course you will:

  • Find out what charitable trusts are and who they give money to
  • Learn how to find and research charitable trusts
  • Understand how you can maximise your organisation’s chance of success
  • Learn how to manage your applications and look after your donors

You will come away with an outline action plan so that you can take your first steps in fundraising from trusts and foundations.
