🕒 3-hour online session

🎓 Hosted by the Local Data Project

On Tuesday, 16th September, come along to a three-hour training session on Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB).Following several requests through our bespoke training callout, the Local Data Project is offering this one-off session for free and everyone is welcome to attend.

This interactive session will introduce the core concepts, tools, and political purpose of Gender Responsive Budgeting. Whether you're from grassroots organisation, local government officer, campaigner, freelance worker or just curious to learn more, this training will give you practical ways to understand and apply GRB in your own context.

What we will cover:

  • What Gender Responsive Budgeting is and why it matters
  • How government spending reflects priorities and can deepen or challenge inequality
  • How to use data, gender analysis and storytelling to influence local decision-making
  • Real examples of GRB in action, and time to think through how it could work in your own context

The aim from this session is that you’ll leave the session with a clearer understanding of how public money can be used more equitably and the tools to start asking better questions about how local decisions are made.
