An Introduction to Hedgelaying at Tatton Park
Sun 15 October 2017, 10:00 – 15:00 BST
A one day introductory course to hedge-laying. Hedge-laying is the ancient craft of creating a living, natural boundary to a livestock field or garden. Using little more than a chopping tool called a billhook, it is the natural old-fashioned way to stock-proof your field for sheep or cattle. On this very hands-on course, our experienced farm staff Ben Edwards and Sam Walton will work alongside you to create a new laid hedge. Meeting Point: Farm.
