Event description

Description

A useful guide on how to determine if your invention is new, and how it is assessed in the patent offices. This session will be particularly useful as an introduction for people who know little about patents.

For many inventors the most valuable part of their business is their intellectual property, so it can be crucial that their ideas are protected.

This informal 90 minute seminar, hosted by Greg Iceton from Dehns Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys, will offer tips on how to obtain sufficient rights and provide an opportunity for your questions to be answered in a Q&A session.

Greg is a fully qualified European and Chartered Patent Attorney. He prosecutes patent and design applications in various fields including ICT, electrical and mechanical engineering. Greg also has experience in handling patent applications relating to business methods and software.
