An Introduction to Lino Printmaking
This three-hour workshop is a fun introduction to the art of lino printing providing an opportunity to design and carve your own lino stamp. The stamp can be used after the class at home to make cards, print wrapping paper, fabric and make bespoke gifts. During your session, you will print your own art prints that can be given as special gifts to friends or as a special treat for yourself.
An equipment guide will be provided so you can continue your printmaking journey at home.

The art room
The art room at Highgate Primary has been created to provide a space for children and adults to come together to express their inherent creative nature; to learn about the world of the arts and its capacity to make whole the individual. Its mission is based firmly on the belief that being involved in the arts can have a lasting and transforming effect on many aspects of the lives of individuals and communities, whose sense of identity and purpose can be changed through such engagement.
