Overview;
This course will provide an overview of Neurodiversity in the workplace, challenges Neurodiverse employee may experience, support strategies as well as awareness of adaptions that can be made to make your workplace more Neurodiverse friendly.
The session will also provide an overview of support available through Thriving at Work, as well as insight into Access to Work grants that can fully fund support for Neurodiverse employees as well as training for employers.

Eligibility /Course requirements
Individuals attending this course must be in paid employment, have the Right to Live and Work in the UK and from the York, North Yorkshire, East Riding areas.
This course will be delivered by Autism Plus as part of the Thriving at Work project, which is fully funded by the European Social Fund and Local Authorities.
Trainer Bio
Luke is a Specialist Employment Coach at Autism Plus. I have a BSc in Psychology from the University of Portsmouth and an MA in Mental Health Counselling from Marshall University.
I have worked in the field of neurodiversity and autism for over 13 years supporting children, teenagers, adults and their families to overcome barriers, reach goals and improve quality of life. I have also trained and coached many professionals to better understand the strengths and challenges of individuals who are neurodiverse.
