About this event
Masterclass attendees will learn to understand, measure, and communicate their social impact using the latest versions of the UK Social Value Bank via our newly engineered online platform, Social Value Insight. This is a new and exciting time to be attending our masterclass which will benefit anyone seeking a robust and proportionate way to measure and attach a value to the social impact of their work in communities.
Attendees from outside of the housing sector are more than welcome. No prior knowledge is required to attend.
Agenda
Session 1: 10.00 - 11.00
The background to the theory behind social impact measurement, an introduction to Wellbeing and Exchequer Valuation, and an explanation of the methodology.
Session 2: 11.00 - 12.00
Getting to know the UK Social Value Bank in its latest offering, and its set of methodologically consistent social values via Social Value Insight.
We will give a tour and a full practical demonstration of the latest value bank from employment, financial Inclusion, social groups & hobbies, homelessness, newly appointed local environmental values around green spaces or wider environmental values such as recycles waste or pollution to savings to the public purse with the latest addition, exchequer values.
Session 3: 12.00 - 13.00
You will learn to apply the latest value bank via Social Value Insight, to track and measure the social impact of your work in a proportionate way to ensure reliable and consistent results, enabling benefits to be compared with costs.
We will explain how to communicate your results, use results to inform decisions and how to maximise your social impact. We will also give real life examples of how other organisations are using Social Value Insight to understand their results, inform decision making, and improve their work around health and housing.
