About this event

This session will provide attendees with a basic understanding of neurodivergence and how it relates to the museum sector. Led by a neurodivergent museum professional, the session will touch on terminology; the social model of disability; and creating equitable spaces, provision, and workforce opportunities for neurodivergent people through reasonable adjustments.

There will be break out group sessions for attendees to discuss, but this will be voluntary and no attendees will be requried to speak or have their camera on at any point during the session.

Slides will be provided afterwards, closed captions will be used, and the chat facility will be available for written discussion and info share.
