An Introduction to Outcome Measures for AHPs is an online training session designed to help Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) understand and use outcome measures (OMs) in their clinical practice.
The course introduces concepts including OMs within the ICF framework, psychometrics/clinimetrics, selecting OMs, interpreting OMs and practical tips on implementing OMs in practice. The course is largely aimed at clinical practice rather than research application.
Suitable for AHPs, support workers, students, and other health professionals.
Course facilitator Joshua Young has taught OMs on University courses for a number of years, and published research on the topic of OMs. The material is informed by a clinical background in physical rehabilitation but will have wider application in other clinical areas.
