An Introduction to Partnering Skills
Overview
Work today can feel like constant turbulence.
Complexity keeps building. Expectations rise. Many of us are asked to influence across teams, functions, and organisations, often without the alignment or shared clarity that would make partnering easier.
At the same time, recent global research shows that emotional and relational capacities at work are declining, including motivation, optimism, and a sense of shared purpose. When pressure rises and these capacities are stretched, partnering can start to feel harder, even when it matters most.
We think there is another way.
✨ That’s why we’re inviting you into an open conversation about partnering.
Come and join us as we explore the different roles we can step into to grow our partnerships. We will talk about how to build stronger connections across our organisations, with external partners, and with the wider community. Together, we will take a fresh look at our working environments, what supports effective partnering, what gets in the way, and how we can enable it more intentionally.
This is not about quick fixes or rigid frameworks. It is about pausing, reflecting, and learning together.
In this 60 minute interactive session, we will:
🔹 Explore the four roles of effective partnering we see consistently, and how we already step into them, often without realising
🔹 Reflect on when these roles support stronger relationships and impact, and when pressure or context can pull us out of them
🔹 Share experiences and perspectives across roles, functions, and contexts
🔹 Create space for more intentional, relational, and effective ways of working, grounded in real situations
