A workshop aimed at individuals working with psychosis or who may conduct initial assessments where psychosis may be evident. The training will cover how psychosis presents and basic interventions to support individuals with unusual experiences.
Learning Outcomes
- Attendees will gain insight into how to assess for psychosis and how to identify any warning signs.
- You will learn some basic skills for working with psychosis through the use of breakout exercises and case studies.

Delivered by Alice Dennison: Senior Psychotherapist
Alice works as a senior psychological therapist in acute inpatient services. Her core trainings are CBT and EMDR. Alice previously worked as a PWP, MHP and assistant psychologist. Her special interests are complex trauma, personality disorders, and psychosis. Alice’s values are very much linked with the importance of ensuring that everybody has access to psychological therapies, regardless of their level of complexity.
