An Introduction to Systemic Constellations: A One-Day Experiential Workshop
Dates:
Saturday 27th September | Friday 28th November
A new way of understanding what shapes your life
Some challenges are difficult to think your way out of. Patterns repeat. Emotions linger. Decisions feel fogged. Despite your insight, something deeper seems to be at play.
Systemic Constellations offer a different kind of perspective. One that looks not only at your individual experience, but also at the wider systems you’re part of: family, work, culture, inheritance. This is a way of listening to what hasn’t yet been seen or acknowledged, through a mix of experiential exercises, embodiment, and intuitive insight.
These one-day workshops are designed to offer a practical, grounded introduction to systemic work, with time to explore, reflect and experience the method firsthand.
Who this is for
These workshops are for everyone who is curious about what lies beneath the surface of complex issues, in life, relationships, or work. You might be:
- Noticing repeating patterns and wondering if they began somewhere earlier
- Holding roles or responsibilities that feel heavy, unclear or misaligned
- Wanting to explore new ways of looking at entangled systems, personal, professional, cultural
- A therapist, coach, facilitator or manager looking to broaden your understanding of relational dynamics
- Have heard of constellations work but are slightly terrified of coming. This is a softer introduction
- You are a professional who wants to see how this work adds understanding to dynamics in the work place.
No previous experience is needed. Whether you come with a personal question, or simply want to witness and take part, you’ll be supported throughout.
What you’ll experience
- An introduction to the theory and practice of systemic constellations
- Core principles including the Orders of Love, systemic perception, and embodied knowing
- Group exercises to map hidden patterns and dynamics
- Live constellations facilitated by Katie and Jamie
- A reflective space to make sense of what emerges
These workshops are practical, embodied and participatory. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of how systemic dynamics show up in your own life and work, and how to begin responding to them with more clarity and compassion.
Facilitators
Katie Despres is a Systemic Constellations Facilitator with a rich professional background spanning executive recruitment, entrepreneurship, and personal development. After studying Psychology, she began her career in London working for entrepreneur James Caan, CBE, before founding her own international recruitment firm and property business in Bristol. Alongside this, she trained as a Transpersonal Coach, and later as a Senior Yoga Teacher.

Her facilitation is rooted in both corporate pragmatism and deep intuitive presence, creating safe and grounded spaces for transformation. She trained with the Centre for Systemic Constellations (CSC) under Gaye Donaldson and Chris Williams and now offers 1:1 and Couples sessions and monthly Constellation workshops in Bristol.
As someone who has navigated the demands of business, parenting, and personal growth, Katie is particularly passionate about making systemic work accessible to professionals seeking fresh insight into the deeper roots of complex patterns in their lives, work, or relationships.

Join Us: Come with curiosity and an open heart. Leave with new perspectives, embodied experience, and a deeper understanding of the interconnected forces shaping your life.
I attended Katie & Jamie’s Introduction to Family Constellations in June 2025, and it was a powerful and grounding experience. Constellation work invites you to see patterns and beliefs from a third perspective, outside of your own internal narrative, which can be incredibly liberating. It helps you gently de-personalise from your 'stuff' and opens up new ways of seeing and being with it.
What stood out most for me was how embodied the experience was. In a world that often keeps us stuck in our analytical, overthinking minds, this work offers a vital shift, back into the body, back into presence. Representing other people’s issues in the constellation process gave me a visceral sense of how powerful embodiment can be.
As a coach who already uses embodied practices with clients, this experience was a reminder of just how transformative being in the body truly is. Highly recommend to coaches wanting to experience the power of embodiment. Sadia GhazanfarWomen's Leadership & Career Development Coach www.slay-your-dragons.com
