The NHS AI Lab was set up by NHSX to accelerate the safe, ethical and effective adoption of AI into health and care. The lab has set up a number of programmes to support AI technologies that have potential to improve the quality of health and care services, while building a robust ethical and regulatory framework to ensure patient and citizen safety. Through this work the aim is to make the UK a leading environment for investment into AI for health and care.
