Join us and learn more about the Sudan Archive on Thursday 24 October (5pm to 6pm) at the Learning Centre at Palace Green Library.

About this Event

As part of our Black History Month programme, members of the University and the public are invited to a FREE introductory talk about the Sudan Archive, probably the most significant collection of Sudanese material outside of Sudan and South Sudan.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Francis Gotto is part of Durham University’s Archives and Special Collections team. He is responsible for the Sudan Archive, Abbas Hilmi II Papers and other Middle Eastern collections.
