It will cover the essential steps you should be taking in order make the most of your applications, improve your chances of success; and target the most appropriate trust or foundation. The workshop is aimed at staff, volunteers and trustees who are new to Trust fundraising.

6) Completing grant application forms

7) Writing free flowing letters

Learning outcomes

By the end of the session participants will:

• Be able to identify appropriate Trusts and Foundations

• Have developed their understanding of how to demonstrate impact and need

• Know how to demonstrate service user engagement

• Have increased knowledge about completing application forms and free flowing letters.

Format

The workshop will be delivered online using Zoom by Karon Phillips. To encourage interaction, attendance will be limited to a maximum of 12 participants. The event will last for 1.5 hours.

This training course is FREE and supported through Supporting Communities Funding. Open to all staff and volunteers from third sector organisations across the Scottish Borders.
