An Introduction to UK reptile ID and Ecology

An Introduction to UK reptile ID and Ecology

By New Forest National Park Authority

Overview

New Forest Green Careers Network members - join Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (ARC) for a session on UK reptile identification

This session will be focused on training around UK reptile identification and ecology.

For wider context, ARC run full survey training at various points across the year from spring into autumn, mostly taking place in early spring. This additional session, specifically for the Green Careers Network, is designed as an introduction to the topic, which would set you up well for joining future reptile survey training. Within the session we will include signposting onto next steps if you'd like to learn more or potentially become a surveyor. (Extra tip: keep an eye on ARC's event's page if interested in following future training opportunities).

For further information about ARC, visit their website: Amphibian and Reptile Conservation

This training is provided as part of the development phase of their Hop Spots Project.

Location will be the Council Chamber, Lymington Town Hall. Finer details around accessing the venue on the day etc. will be sent to booked attendees nearer the time.
