Event description

Description

An introduction to urban aquaponics.

Learn how to design and build your own indoor aquaponic system

Join the team at Green Lab and we’ll show you how to grow your own food using fish waste and a water recirculating system. Using low cost equipment and recycled materials you’ll learn how to source, design and build a system for your home or garden.

You'll come away with a better understanding of

  • How to design a small scale aquaponic system for your garden
  • Learn about which fish to chose, and how to look after then
  • Grow leafy greens and fruiting plants
  • Fish biology, water chemistry and basic farming techniques
  • How to expand your system

The workshop runs from 10.00am - 1.00pm

Bring lunch to share if you would like to stay and network until 1.30pm after the workshop.

Venue: Green Lab, Corner of Keetons and Collett Road, Bermondsey, London SE16 4EE

Costs: £36 per individual
