Event Information
In this workshop, you will learn how to use EFT at a simple level for everyday stresses, both as an end in itself, and as an introduction to its use in working with more complex stressors.  EFT, also sometimes known as 'tapping', is a therapeutic tool for reducing and releasing the emotional and energetic charge from issues.  It involves tapping on a series of acupressure points whilst addressing the problem (a client taps on themselves). Whilst there are many elements to being an effective practitioner of EFT, the basic technique itself is simple to learn and useful for self-help.

About the Presenter
 Roushan Martens is an advanced practitioner and accredited trainer in EFT.  In addition to private practice, she has worked with clients at the Scottish Government and Edinburgh Women's Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre, and with patients at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital.   She is also a Somatic Experiencing (trauma therapy) Practitioner and massage therapist.  More information at

Aims of the Event
To introduce the basic principles and technique of EFT as a tool for stress relief.
To show you EFT in action with a practitioner, and to allow you to try it for yourself with an everyday stress. 
To give you enough information to use the technique for yourself following the workshop.
