An Introduction to Workplace Health - because healthy people grow business' better!

This unique event mixes real-life experience with practical advice in an introduction to workplace health, from health and wellbeing experts that are based at Archway Health Hub.

Each presenter has a wealth of experience in the wider world of healthcare and a deep understanding of the impact that work has on individual peoples’ lives. Topics covered within the two hour introduction, include:

• An introduction to Archway Health Hub and Workplace Wellbeing from owner, Alec Welton

• A talk and practical demonstration of the effects a badly set-up work-station can have, including advice about musculoskeletal health from Tracy Dixon-Maynard – Owner of Positura and Director of Workplace Health and Wellbeing at Archway Health Hub

• A case study example to outline individual peoples’ requirements when it comes to health and nutrition, and the effect of poor nutrition for the workplace, alongside a practical demonstration about how much sugar can be found in everyday items from Sheila Storer – Nutritionist at Archway Health Hub

• An overview of work/life balance and effectiveness, alongside an introduction to meditation from Pradip Gajjar – Leadership and wellbeing coach

The Introduction to Workplace Health workshop has been set up to coincide with the launch of Archway’s workplace wellbeing programme, which will provide a holistic approach to ensuring that business owners and all of their employees are as happy, healthy and productive at work as possible.

The event is free to attend and is aimed at people who have responsibility for staff wellbeing – from business owners, to directors, to representatives dealing with staff retention and illness.

For everyone who attends the event, they will receive a free 30-minute visit from one of the team to discuss or experience any aspect they would like to explore further, and too see the benefits for themselves.
