Event description

Description

The agricultural industry has revolutionised since its humble beginnings. No longer do we think of an entirely manual process, but of the advances and technological developments in AgriTech. Yet the agriculture industry will only go so far working in silos.

The LSCC is presenting its Technology’s Future in Agriculture event, through which delegates will be brought together to discuss the convergence of Agriculture with technology and it’s potential for economic growth across the East of England. The East of England is a region already rich in AgriFood and AgriTech. But together the region, made up of London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridge, Suffolk and Norfolk, and its various technological solutions could be much more prosperous.

An integral part of this is succession planning. As technology evolves, its uses in agricultural fields expand and diversify even further. The LSCC also wants to consider how the industry draws in the next generation of agricultural developers and workers to address national and global food demands.
