An Old Kilpatrick Christmas Carol
Event Information
About this event
Set in 2021, in a small town in West Dumbartonshire a miserly local figure called Scrooge does his best to enrich himself while keeping others down. Taking advantage of the scourge of the pandemic, his profits boom selling dodgy PPE and in exploiting his underpaid workers. BOOOOOO!
Late on Christmas Eve as he counts his riches, Scrooge is visited by 3 ghosts of Christmas past, present and future. As they lead him round his local village and open his eyes to the impact of his miserly ways, they challenge him on how he can become become a better member of his community and ask us all: Can people can really change?
