An Overview of Attention Autism

Officially called ‘Attention Autism’ but also referred to as ‘Bucket Time.’ The approach was originally designed to support students with Autism, but it has been recognised that this approach can support students with other SLCN needs too.

This training goes over what the approach is and how you can use it within your classrooms/environment to build upon children’s shared attention, listening, turn taking skills and having fun! You will learn about all the different stages and what they target and also the practicalities of setting it up within your school if you haven’t got started with it. If you have, the training can offer you new ideas and inspiration which is sometimes needed when you have been doing it for a while.
