Description

Free, accredited course

Learn about micro anaerobic digestion (AD) in a community setting and how we can use it to turn food waste into biogas and liquid fertiliser. The course covers an understanding of the basic process and how to optimise it , inputs and outputs of the system and how to use them, as well as practical skills in operating a digester, monitoring and troubleshooting. We will explore how micro AD can be play a role in creating decentralised closed-loop urban cycles, combined with urban agriculture.

This is a 4 week course (rather than 4 standalone sessions) starting on the 3rd April and runs every Tuesday 1-4pm. The last session is on the 24th April.
