This course is focused on color exploration through experimenting with shapes and graphic mark-making skills within the screen printing process.
During this course, participants will learn different screen printing techniques that will not require the use of chemicals or hazardous substances.
Participants will be working with water-based inks and will also learn color-mixing methods and approaches.
The course will cover techniques such as monoprinting with acrylic and watercolor materials, stencil making with paper, and stencil making using screen blocker.
This is a fun and skillful course that will expand your knowledge of printmaking using water/based inks and solidifying screen print fundamentals.
There will be 3 techniques taught, paper stenciling, non-UV emulsion stenciling & monoprinting.
This course is suitable for beginners and experienced artists who want to develop their skills by learning new processes of printmaking.
*Some previous experience will be advantageous but is not essential.
Note>>
1-We will not be working with digital imagery as such.
2-There are no requirements of having an art background or having experience with print for this course although some previous knowledge will always be an advantage.
