About this event

Arts • Fine Art

Creative, hands on workshops using black and white photography paper and chemicals to create photogram images, as well as creating pinhole cameras from tin cans.

Artist Francesca Cello will guide you through the process, experimenting with significant words, objects and natural forms to create your own non-figurative portraits with analogue technology.

Each workshop 1-4pm will introduce new techniques and ideas. We recommend attending both sessions.

The final workshop on Wednesday 29th will include an informal, live community radio show 3-4pm chatting about analogue photography with Francesca and visiting artists.

For ages 16-25 suitable for beginners and all levels of experience

Low cost and fully funded places available.

This is part of listen—play—experiment, funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund alongside support from the Richard and Siobhán Coward Foundation Community Photography Fund.
