About Al

Alasdair works with traditional and digital photography processes, often combining them to create strongly aesthetic pieces.Preferring handmade, improvised cameras to expensive, technical equipment, he is also a firm believer that all phone-cameras offer unparalleled potential for everybody to produce great images. About Gregg

Gregg McNeill has enjoyed a successful film and digital photography career for over 25 years in the US and Scotland which is now home. His discovery of the wet plate collodion process invented in 1851 had a profound impact on him and his work largely centres on this magical process. He works on glass or tin plate, an authentic Victorian camera, and his experience and timing - most times things turn out great ! He has just finished a marathon session at the Edinburgh Festival taking street portraits using an Afghan box camera he built himself.
