Description

The Anatomy: Foundational Coaching Course for healthcare and education professionals on February 10th and 11th 2018 from 9:30am to 5:30pm both days.

“One of the best courses that I have attended in my 40+ year working life.” - Ryde School Faculty Member

Those of you who work in education and healthcare have much in common: you are entrusted to enhance the growth and wellness of others. As doctors, teachers, university professors, counsellors, therapists and social workers, the quality of instruction and care you provide isn’t only based on your experience and expertise. Your ability to connect to others and communicate effectively also play important roles, as do as your self-awareness, openness and flexibility.

Learn how to coach yourself and others to elevate learning, wellbeing and performance. A coaching approach equips you, your team and those in your care to break through barriers and increase communication, competence and confidence.

Graydin has been delivering specialized coaching services to educators and socially-driven organizations for six years. This two-day course offers a unique opportunity to be trained in coaching language, skills and concepts.

Coaching skills improve:

  • communication

  • trust and understanding

  • comfort with self-exploration and honesty

  • awareness of personal strengths and weaknesses

  • independence, confidence and resourcefulness

  • the capacity to deal with stress and conflict

  • the ability to support confidence and motivation in others

At the end of the course, you will leave with tools and techniques that can be immediately implemented to help your beneficiaries and colleagues maximize their potential, including:

  • skillful questioning designed to develop thinking capacity

  • self-reflection and self-evaluation skills for improved self-awareness

  • communication skills to identify and develop potential

  • improved goal setting and accountability techniques

Resources and support: Following this two-day course, you will receive 10 weeks of follow-up emails to remind you of the skills you have learned. Also included are access to Graydin's Learning Portal, a 75+ page handbook, and other coaching resources.

Fee: The price for one person is $750 CDN or for two people $1200 CDN and Eventbrite's fee. This is a special discounted price for our 2018 The Anatomy course only.

From our wonderful host:

In 2018, Rundle College is proudly hosting Graydin’s foundational coaching course, The Anatomy. Rundle College has greatly benefited from engaging with Graydin’s training during our annual leadership retreat in 2016. Coaching has been both influential and transformative for our leadership team. The values-based approach to listening, learning and leading has inspired our leaders to invest in each other and the answers that are held within. It is our hope that our staff, students and parents continue to develop fluency in this critical skill set. Jason B. Rogers, Headmaster, Rundle College Society

Who we are:

Graydin was founded in the UK in 2011 and is now running courses all over the world, including Canada, USA, UAE, Australia and China. We have worked with more than 90 schools, universities and socially-driven organizations over the last six years. Some of our clients include Wellington College, London South Bank University and Grafton Primary School in the UK; Middlesex University in Dubai; King’s Christian Collegiate and the Parkdale Activity-Recreation Centre in Canada; and Riverdale Country School and PS295 in the USA. We believe in the power of coaching, and after six years of working in partnership with organizations, we are opening our doors to individuals to learn the Start With Heart model and the Graydin methodology.

This is a non-refundable ticket. If necessary, the ticket may be transferred to another person within your school.
