Mike Keen is a chef and adventurer based in the east of England, dedicated to exploring ancestral diets and their role in shaping sustainable global food systems.
He splits his time between his home in Suffolk and travelling to far flung places around the world immersing himself in indigenous diets – from eating only sea mammals in Greenland to rotten fishheads in Mexico.
He describes himself as someone who 'is fascinated with our evolutionary food journey and how we’ve managed to balls it up so quickly'
In this fascinating dinner, Mike will share what he has learnt from a life on the road, researching and experimenting on himself. The menu will reflect what he has found on his search for the optimal human diet.
