Ancient Freshwater Isle
Step back in time on this walk as we trace the ancestors of West Wight. Past megalithic structures and encountering ancient processional ways, we truely walk in the footsteps of human past. This delve into the archaeological heritage will take in the spectacular views of Tennyson Down.

Walk Start Point: Freshwater Bay National Trust car park, PO40 9RD, Grid Reference for Start - SZ 351 856 (Off the Military Road, up the hill out of the bay not the council car park at the bay).
Type of Walk: Circular
Pace of Walk: Moderate - This walk will follow a moderate pace.
Walk grade: Moderate - Varying landscape with more challenging slopes. Stiles and steps to be expected en route, suitable for keen walkers and anyone who is reasonably active.
Mobility level: Walkers need to be reasonably agile and mobile. Not suitable for walkers with mobility impairment of any kind
