Mara is an expert in all things gender, sexuality and feminism in women’s classical reception and scholarship, and she is currently completing a DPhil in Classical Languages and Literature at St. Hilda’s College, University of Oxford. She is hugely interested in telling queer stories through mythology and folklore and is a fascinating speaker who lives and breathes her work.
