Description

Barton Farm Produce X And Flowers invite you to celebrate the launch the 001 in our series of 'Vegetable Flower' t-shirts, The Tomato Plant.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Did you know:

The yellow flowers produced by tomato plants must be fertilised before fruit can form. Once fertilised, the flowers develop into tomatoes, signalled by small green globes that become visible at the base of the blossoms and that eventually become mature tomatoes.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By taking agricultural themes into a new context, we aim to cultivate an entirely new kind of growth.

In keeping with this theme, we are screening one episode from the six part David Attenborough documentary, The Private Life of Plants, to launch each new deisgn. It is a study of the growth, movement, reproduction and survival of plants and flowers.

If you have an interest in nature or simply want to get to know more about it, then come along.

It will run for roughly an hour and refreshments and snacks will be provided.

The screening will be running during our pop up at Protein where we will be offering affordable flowers to buy by the stem from 10.02-14.02 so feel free come and say hello.
