Event description

Description

A talk exploring opportunities to optimise the sense and experience of nature and ‘wildness’ within cities of the future.

Andrew led the design team for the award-winning Gardens by the Bay project in Singapore and will touch on this and a range of other international examples that explore the future connections of humans and nature in the built environment.

Join us for this fantastic opportunity to discover our own urban future.

Funds will go towards the Bristol Zoological Society's Alumni Fund which provides an annual award for a distinguished alumni of our Higher Education Provision. BZS currently runs 5 degree programmes that focus on wildlife conservation, animal health, and zoological management, with 4 institutions (University of Bristol, University of the West of England, SGS College, and University of Gloucestershire).
