This promises to be an insightful and exciting conversation between fellow Gramscians, Andrew Pearmain and Daniel Gordon.

Andrew has written extensively on Gramsci, including a fictional novel titled Gramsci in Love (2015) inspired by Gramsci's curious relationships with the three Schucht sisters, Evgenia, Tatiana and his wife Julia. Daniel's explorations of the historical and cultural context in which Gramsci lived and wrote will inform the conversation and spark a discussion on radical individualism and the politics of identity as co-evolving social phenomena.

Andrew Pearmain is a full time Gramscian and writer, and has also been a communist student politician, performance poet, social work manager and academic historian.

Daniel Gordon is Senior Lecturer in European History at Edge Hill University and author of "Immigrants and Intellectuals: May '68 and the Rise of Anti-Racism in France'" (Merlin Press, 2012).
